For Practitioners of Both Sadhanas:
Interchangeable ornaments that convert the Phuktor to a Dorje Phagmo torma.
The torma may be adapted to serve as both a Dorje Phagmo torma, and a Phuktor by making the ornaments removable. The two large blue ornaments at top and bottom (as pictured) are made to be re-attachable to the “arms”; the two large red ornaments on the “arms” may be moved to the top and bottom. The small central red ornament swaps places with a similarly sized blue one included in the set. Minus the four balims (not found with a Dorje Phagmo torma) the Phuktor becomes a Dorje Phagmo for vajrayogini practice. This version of the torma then functions as both a Chakrasamvara and Vajrayogini torma, depending on the practioner's needs.
Price Phuktor/Dorje Phagmo: $360 USD |

Kunchok Chidu
(“Essence of the Three Jewels”
A guru yoga of Padmasambhava)
There are several tormas for this practice, listed below. In daily practice and feast a Mentor is used. In retreat this torma has at times been replaced by the Ludu and Tsomen. Whatever form of Kunchok Chidu practice you are doing, retreat or otherwise, be sure of the necessary tormas for your particular practice as they may vary a little depending on the teacher and lineage. Additionally, there are several tormas of tsampa (barley flour) made by the practitioner and offered on a daily basis. These of course are not included here. The permanent tormas for Kunchok Chidu practice are:

Vajrakilaya
(Dorje Phurba)
There are over thirty individual tormas needed for the Vajrakilaya retreat practice, depicted here. These are in the style of Mindroling Monastery. The tormas require considerable shrine space and should be used when performing the retreat practice of Vajrakilaya. It is important to be certain of the necessary torma offerings, since the tormas can vary considerably for different forms of this practice.

Other Tormas
Other offering or representational tormas can be made for practices such as Rain of Blessings, and so on. These tormas vary greatly from one another in shape and complexity and I'm familiar with the tormas used in these and some other practices. If I'm not familiar with what you want, I will need some sort of photos or drawings to use as a guide. Please e-mail me through the link provided and we can discuss your needs. |
