These tormas are used in the practice of The Sadhana of Nonmeditation, a terma sadhana of Avalokiteshvara, revealed by the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche in Tibet in the late 1950s. These tormas include a central torma (tsator) for the bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), and three protector tormas for Ekajati, Rahula, and Vajrasadhu respectively. There is a set of three Tenma Tormas for the practice which are generally made of tsampa. These can be permanent tormas and an example of similar Tenma can be found in the Vajrakilaya section. Tenma are not included in this set but can be ordered.

The tsator is elaborately ornamented, standing about 13 inches high (33 cm) and is 4.5 inches (12 cm) across at the base. The torma for Ekajati is 3.5 inches (9 cm) across the base and with the crown ornament is somewhat tall at about 16 inches (40.5 cm). The other two protector tormas are 3 inches (7.5 cm) wide and about 10 inches (25.5 cm) high. There is an image of each protector atop its respective torma.
