This elaborate torma is used in the feast practice of the Sadhana of Mahamudra—a terma of the Vidyadhara, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The torma may be used for making feast offering in groups, or individually in retreat. This Paltor, or glorious torma, is a type of torma used in practices involving wrathful or semiwrathful dieties, such as Dorje Trollo Karma Pakshi. There are no retinue tormas. The torma is 13-14 inches high (35 cm), and measures about 7 inches (18 cm) across at base. There are no retinue tormas.
